The Victoria’s Secret Fantasy Bra is far more than just a brassiere. It is a precious stone embellished piece of lingerie worth millions of dollars that has adorned the world’s biggest supermodels for almost two decades.
This year’s Fantasy Bra, which has been dubbed the Fireworks Fantasy Bra, was created during 685 hours of labor and with more than 6,500 precious gems. Crafted by the label’s traditional jeweler, Mouawad, the amazing bra is embellished with spark-like bursts of more than 14 different precious gems, from blue topaz and garnet to yellow sapphire—all set in 18-karat gold. The total weight of the diamonds used is said to be more than 375 carats. In total, the combined weight of all the stones used in making this bra is a little under 1,364 carats while the panties are encrusted with 126 diamonds and 400 other precious stones.
