A security guard, identified as Onoja Abel, sentenced to five years imprisonment by an Akure Chief Magistrates’ Court for raping an unnamed nine-year-old girl.
According to reports, the accused committed the crime at Toyosi Pure Water Compound of High School Area, Akure.
The prosecutor, ASP Isah Atanegbe told the court that Abel lured the girl into his room and raped her three times, between September and October 2015, adding that the convict had unlawful carnal knowledge of the minor girl without her consent.
